During my first week at Tommy my boss came to me asking if I could draw in illustrator at all. He needed a quick icon in-house for our new IslandZone Performance activewear to describe the properties in this new fabric with a sprinkle of sand as they call it, something that doesn’t feel too serious and that evokes relaxation. What started as a simple group of 4 icons grew to an entire system that is incorporated into every channel.
